Jumbo bag (also known as big bag, Bulk bag, FIBC) is a large size packaging made from woven PP (poly propylene) plastic with a high level of strength, dedicated to containing, storing and transporting goods. at loads from 500kg – 2500kg.
Coated jumbo bags are jumbo bags made from PP woven fabric coated with glue to help preserve the products inside from being waterproof and limit powdered products from leaking out.
A coated jumbo bag is made up of 4 parts: body, cover, bottom and belt.
Body: coated jumbo bag made of PP woven fabric coated with PP glue. The coating glue layer is usually 25-30g/m2. Depending on the load contained, the fabric of the bag body has a coated weight from 160 gr/m2 – 250g/m2. Body fabric size will be cut according to bag size.
Cover: depending on the product contained and the method of packing, coated jumbo bags are usually designed with a cover or a loading tube.
Bag bottom: If there is no need to discharge the goods from the bottom of the bag, coated jumbo bags will have a closed bottom (flat bottom fabric), this is often the case for jumbo bags containing bulk products. On the contrary, the bottom of the bag will be designed with a discharge pipe to facilitate the quick discharge of goods from the bag. According to the standards of jumbo bag manufacturer Louispack, the bottom of the discharge will be reinforced with lotus petals to ensure the safest and most convenient.
Belt: Coated jumbo bags are usually sewn with 4 lifting straps. Depending on the load of the bag, the belt has a width and breaking force suitable for the belt from 4cm – 10cm, breaking force from 750kg – 2500kg. For customers who need to use a crane to move bags, the jumbo bag manufacturer will sew 2 more crane straps to connect 4 lifting straps.
